About Organisation
SANCHAR is a not for profit voluntary organization formed under the Societies of Registration Act, XXI of 1860 in the office of IGR, Cuttack in the year 1995 to operate all over Odisha state. The members associated in the organization are governed by a well constituted eight members Governing Body. The members and the deployed staff are responsible to carry out the decisions taken in the Governing Body from time to time and mostly they engage themselves in various social development works. The Governing Body also takes necessary advice from the three members Advisory Group who are highly dignified, experienced and professionally qualified to guide the members either in taking proper decisions and discharging the duties in social fields.

TThe overall mission of the organization is to aware, empower and serve the people who are in urgent need of assistance and require further knowledge, skills and empowerment in achieving healthy living pattern.
Aim & Objective
The basic objective of the organization is to lead the society towards development. In achieving the desired goal it is necessary to work for the interest of privileged groups and communities who are severely sufferings and at the same time involving the neglected common people to raise their voice and jointly work for the development of society.

Activities
Relief works during COVID-19 pandemic period
During lockdown due to spread over of COVID-19 mostly the migrant
workers working in different states returned back to their native places
and economically poor community earning on daily basis by engaging
themselves in various occupations suffered a lot. Even they could not
get food to feed their family members. There were also no adequate
sources to get minimum food for their survival.
During this adverse situation our organization contributed a sum of
Rs.50,000/- and we engaged our volunteers both in Anandapur block
and near Dhurukuti sahi near Manheswar area at Bhubaneswar to
distribute masks....
Livelihood support to COVID-19
affected families
Our organization has financially supported five
families of Dhurukuti sahi near Mancheswar Railway
workshop who were unable to get any sources of
income during COVID-19 lockdown period.
A daily wage earner doing missionary job at
Bhubaneswar did not get any works during lock down
period and his four members family were in distress
to get food for survival. After identifying the person an
amount of Rs.10000/- was given as assistance to start
a vegetable shop near VSS Nagar market. After a
week of start of his small business he could manage
to provide minimum ration for survival of his family
members. Even his wife also contributed her effort for
proper running of the business.
